A Few Sides

Sometimes I make a blog post and I feel like I have to issue a cautionary sentence: this is a random mess of thoughts, pictures, etc. But the truth is that is how my brain works.

I am a gemini and actually think that the gemini astrology description fits me perfectly to a tee:

"Since Geminis are a mix of the yin and the yang, they are represented perfectly by the Twins. The Gemini-born can easily see both sides of an issue, a wonderfully practical quality. Less practical is the fact that you're not sure which Twin will show up half the time. Geminis may not know who's showing up either, which can prompt others to consider them fickle and restless."

Anyways, needless to say this post will show a few different sides of me with no real theme.

Let's start with a few letters with The Sweet Season:

Dear Summer: Thank you for coming now lets progress slowly and savor this time off. Dear Vacations, I feel blessed that I get to take three little vacations this summer please hurry up and get here!

Dear 300+ students of mine:  I will miss most of you, our days were filled with laughter, sarcasm, eye rolls and hopefully a little bit of learning. Dear 10% of my students: Let's be truthful here, I would not like to come across you in a dark alley so please don't show up in my room again.

Dear Body: You jumped rope for like two hours on and off Wednesday, and were pretty pathetic, you shouldn't feel like you climbed a mountain and ran a marathon. Dear Motivation: please come back your first week at the 30 miles in 30 days challenge is not your best effort. Dear Liver: Start doing a few liver push ups this weekend will be filled with lots of booze, don't worry next week I will give you a break.

Dear Blog Readers/Followers/Commentors: THANK YOU! I can not express the joy and excitement I get each time I get a new comment or follower. Yesterday was my blogging birthday and one year ago I started this blog to be able to record my thoughts and moments a little better and I am still blown away by how much I have come to HEART my blogging community.

Dear Birthday Weekend: Please be everything I hoped for and run smoothly and stress free. Dear Self: Please stop stressing about the little details and just enjoy the moments that come along. Dear Sister: hurry up and get here so the drinking can begin!

Dear Mr. B: I HEART you beyond words. Thank you for putting up with me and all of stress and anxiety these past few weeks, lets have a great weekend!

Now time to #backthatazzup!

Here is a song for my country music side.

While this is a guy singing about a girl I feel like it fits me pretty well. Pre-Mr. B I had a bit more of a crazy side and my birthday weekend would of been spent on tables/bars or any other surface that my drunken self could climb onto. And while there will most definitely be drinking and good times, I am looking forward to softer more relaxing weekend.

And because it's my birthday weekend and my wild side isn't completely gone I had to pull out this oldie:
